ABIGAIL’S PARTY
ABIGAIL’S PARTY
By Mike Leigh
Directed by Lee Brock
A Co-Production with The Barrow Group
November – December 2016
Mike Leigh’s brilliantly observed comedy captures the epically human and funny price of denial as a group of new neighbors gathers for drinks in a suburban London living room. Penned in 1977, Leigh points out that “[the play] still hits a nerve about the way we live.” A New York Times Critic’s Pick and a sold out run!

Abigail’s Party may be the most uncomfortable comedy in New York right now, and I’d sit through it again in a second….a must see
Critics and audiences loved it and the biting comedy played to sold out houses. It’s not common for such a well-tuned beginner to touch down with such finesse, but this is one company to watch with eager eyes.
The latest revival captures the play’s comic side thanks to period-perfect art direction and solid performances.
